Peninsula State Park
Peninsula State Park, considered Wisconsin's most complete park, offers a wide range of attractions including over 460 campsites, three group camps, a summer theater, an 18-hole golf course, a sand beach, bike trails, a lighthouse, and eight miles of Door County shoreline. The park's landscape features rollicking waves that reach sky-high bluffs as part of the Niagara Escarpment.
Notable landmarks within the park include the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, the White Cedar Nature Center, and Eagle Tower, which can be accessed by stairs or accessible canopy walk. Additionally, Peninsula Park White Cedar Forest is one of the Natural Areas within the park, showcasing a continuum of five distinct community types that change with elevation away from Green Bay.
The Park has an all-terrain outdoor wheelchair available for loan. Its tracks can handle rough, rocky and unstable surfaces, so everyone can explore Wisconsin's beautiful outdoors. The wheelchair is free to use and can be requested for checkout from the Friends of Peninsula State Park.
