The park encompasses 1,476 acres of forested land, mostly comprising balsam fir, birch, aspen, and spruce, as well as wetlands, a lake, and rivers. Its features include: Wisconsin's highest waterfall, Big Manitou Falls, at 165 feet, a 300-foot beach on Interfalls Lake, and Little Manitou Falls, a 31-foot twin waterfall. Almost 200 species of birds come to the park, 54 species of mammals live here, and many reptiles and amphibians dwell in Pattison's varied habitats. The park has over nine miles of hiking trails, offering stunning views of the waterfalls.

Pattison State Park's campground has 59 regular (family) campsites, 18 of them with electric hookups and three remote walk-in sites. There is a sanitary dumping station, but no sewer or water hookups. Showers and flush toilets are available during the summer. Pets are welcome in Wisconsin State Parks, but must be on a leash and under control at all times. Certain areas may be off limits to pets. Visit our website for more details.

The pathway to Big Manitou Falls is paved. The path to Little Manitou is also accessible with a paved surface or crushed stone. The property also keeps the path to Big Manitou overlook cleared in the winter.

Show off your selfie skills! Find a selfie stand located at the south overlook at Big Manitou Falls and stop for an amazing photo. Share yours with us on Instagram using #ScenicWisconsin. This stand is fully accessible with a paved path to the overlook.
