Copper Falls State Park
Copper Falls State Park, known for its ancient lava flows, deep gorges, and breathtaking waterfalls, is one of Wisconsin’s most scenic destinations. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming in Loon Lake. Highlights include the 1.7-mile Doughboy’s Nature Trail along the Bad River, mountain biking trails, and a scenic overlook with views of an 80-foot-deep gorge. Historic log buildings from the 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps add a special charm, making it a must-visit for nature lovers.
