Until further notice, this State Park will remain open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, however restrooms, water fountains, and trash receptacles are unavailable. Park passes are required but are not being sold on-site. Please contact the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Customer Service Center to purchase passes: 888-305-0398, 8am-3pm daily or with questions: 1-888-936-7463, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.

The Lower Wisconsin Riverway consists of 92 miles of the Wisconsin River from the dam at Prairie du Sac to the confluence with the Mississippi River near Prairie du Chien represents one of the longest stretches of free-flowing river remaining in the Midwest. The river is a Mecca for canoeists and anglers who enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley as well as the challenge of paddling or sport of angling.
