La Pointe is located on Madeline Island in Lake Superior. Take the 3-mile ferry trip from Bayfield to explore Madeline Island. On the island discover Big Bay State Park with a beach, boardwalk and camping, The Madeline Island Museum, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed golf course, fine dining, galleries and shops.
